Massage Etiquette

Most massage techniques are performed with the guest unclothed; however, it's up to you on how much. You will lay under the blanket and top sheet and the therapist will uncover the area being worked on.

Will the therapist be present when I disrobe?

The therapist will leave the room before you undress and gently knock on the door to make sure you are under the sheets before re-entering.

Do I need to shave my legs or back before my appointment?

It's up to you, your massage therapist doesn't care if you shave your legs or back. But please know that if you're REALLY hairy, the movements we use during session might cause tangles or knots that can be a little painful.

Should I shower before my massage?

It's up to you, but please be courteous if it's a hot summer day or if you have just gone to the gym.

What parts of my body will be massaged?

You and your therapist will discuss the desired outcome of your session. This will determine which parts of your body you would like more attention to. A typical full-body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, neck and shoulders. You WILL NOT be touched on or near your genitals or breasts.

What should I do during the massage?

Make yourself comfortable. Your therapist will either gently move you or tell you when rolling over is necessary. Many people just close their eyes and completely relax, others like to talk during their session. Feel free to ask the therapist questions about massage in general, or about particular techniques you are receiving. Above all, enjoy yourself. Relax, Unwind, and Breathe.

What types of massage do you offer?

How long will the session last?

Sessions are set up so that you get the full time listed by the session. Ex. 60 minute Swedish Massage - you would receive a full 60 minutes hands on massage if you arrive about 5-10 minutes before your appointment. However if you arrive late, your session time will be shortened to accommodate for the other appointments.

Do people fall asleep? What do you do?

Of course people fall asleep! I consider it a compliment! A massage is YOUR time to relax and unwind. If you fall asleep your therapist will continue to massage you and if it's time to flip over, or when the session ends they will gently awaken you to do so.

Do I pay before or after the session?

All payment will be due at the end of the session after you redress and allow the therapist back into the room.

- Any certificates and offers must be brought and shown at the beginning of your session.

Should I leave a tip? How much?

Yes. If you feel like your massage was exceptional and you would like to tip above the price of the session you are welcome to do this, however, it is not necessary. So please don't feel like you have to tip especially if it would be a burden to do so in any way.

Why do you require a credit card to hold an appointment? Will it be charged in advance of the appointment of can i pay some other way after the massage?

For appointments we require a valid credit card to hold all appointments but we do not charge your card in advance. On the day of your appointment, you can either as us to put the charge through the card on file or provide alternate payment in the form of cash, different credit card or gift certificate. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel with less than a 24-hour notice then we will charge the missed appointment fee to the card on file.

What is your cancellation policy? Why do you charge a cancellation fee?

Starting November 30, 2019 Our policy is to charge the FULL appointment fee in the event that an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice. We understand that it may feel frustrating to pay for a service you don't receive however this is a way to protect our therapists and be sure they are getting paid for their time. Simply put, if someone misses an appointment without notice, it prevents that therapist from working during the reserved time. In some cases that can represent up to 1/3 of the therapists earnings for a day. Thank you for your understanding!

What happens if I terminate my session early?

You are responsible for the reserved appointment time and will be considered as a cancellation, therefore the cancellation fee will apply. Please refer to our cancellation policy.

Reservations and Menu

I like to book last-minute/same-day appointments. Can I do that online or should I call?
All of our open appointments, including same-day openings, are listed online. All appointments can be booked within 3 hours.

What is the difference between Full and Mini upgrade?

A full service upgrade would be adding a complete service such as a full body hot stone massage as opposed to a mini, which would be focused on certain areas, usually on the back, hands or feet.
